THEATRE TECHNOLOGY/AV
At the College Centre of Performing Arts, I am employed on a casual basis, and a volunteer Usher & Theatre Technician.
I help with various internal events such as Dance Concerts, Music Performances, Presentations and many more. These hours are usually 3-4 hours a week, depending on what time of year it is, but can range up to 21 hours a week.
Leadership & Teamwork
In the CPA, I am a mentor to the junior students, and show the students how things work throughout te theatre, such as with our Lighting, Video Production,and Sound systems. I help these students develop their skills, and work with them until we have major events such as Dance Concerts, in which we bring the stage/video team together to bring the technical side of the show to a professional level.
I spend time throughout Tech Club sessions, to show younger students how the systems work in the theatre, and pride myself in the way that I can teach the younger students and pass down my knowledge i have learnt over the years.
